Alabama Historical Commission Announces Community Meeting for Clotilda Report

Montgomery - The Alabama Historical Commission along with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Mobile District is announcing a community meeting for the report on the Clotilda Phase III investigation. This meeting is free and open to the public and the media. The details for this meeting are below:

• Date: Thursday, August 8, 2024

• Time: 5:30 p.m. CST

• Location: Robert Hope Community Center, 850 Edwards Street, Mobile, AL 36610

The meeting will take place to present the findings from Phase III of the Clotilda investigation including the preservation plan along with the steps for the installation of the fixed aids to navigation around the wreck.
