Rep-Am: Hayes is a dedicated public servant who deserves re-election

CT-05 constituent : "As a former Waterbury educator and national teacher of the year, Jahana is dedicated to children and families, including seniors."

It's Teacher Appreciation Week, and voters across Connecticut's Fifth Congressional District are making it loud and clear why Congresswoman Jahana Hayes - who was named National Teacher of the Year in 2016 - will be resoundingly re-elected in November.

Since she was elected in 2018, Hayes has delivered for her district, resulting in critical progress on fighting to end hunger, protect abortion rights, increase access to baby formula, and pass historic legislation to improve Connecticut's infrastructure.

DCCC Spokesperson Ellie Dougherty:
"Unlike her opponent, Jahana Hayes actually has a strong record of getting things done for working families across Connecticut's Fifth District."

Republican-American: Hayes is a dedicated public servant who deserves re-election
Helen S. Wilson | May 7, 2024

Our elected representatives are supposed to work for our country and for the district or state that elects them. Rep. Jahana Hayes, D-5th District, works diligently for our cities, towns, and her constituents.

She is the perfect example of a dedicated public servant and deserves to be re-elected.

Jahana has secured funding for more than 12 projects in the district, including $1 million for the Meriden Senior Center and more than $1 million for transportation infrastructure in Danbury.

She diligently provides services and assistance to her constituents, regardless of their party affiliation. She gets out to meet people and talk with them to hear their concerns.

As a former Waterbury educator and national teacher of the year, Jahana is dedicated to children and families, including seniors.

Re-elect Jahana so she can continue working on our behalf; we need her in D.C. during these times!
