WASHINGTON, D.C.- The Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) announces the newly elected leadership of its Board of Directors. The elections were conducted on March 27, 2024, during the organization's Executive Committee meeting.
Leading the Board of Directors are:
Chair: Robert Blue, chair, president and CEO of Dominion Energy
Mr. Blue joined Dominion Energy in 2005 and has held a succession of services and operational executive roles since his promotion to officer in 2007. Before becoming CEO and president in October 2020, he was Dominion Energy's executive vice president and co-chief operating officer, as well as president of Dominion Energy Virginia, the company's vertically integrated electric utility in Virginia and North Carolina. Mr. Blue became chair of the Dominion Energy board of directors in April 2021.
Vice Chair: Drew Marsh, chair and CEO of Entergy Corporation
Mr. Marsh joined Entergy in 1998 as an associate in strategic planning and special projects. He later played an integral role in the company's national nuclear strategy as finance project manager. Before becoming CEO in 2022, Marsh served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Entergy, where he was responsible for overseeing the corporate finance, accounting, internal audit, treasury, investor relations, and corporate development and planning departments.
The following individuals have also been re-elected to serve as officers of NEI:
NEI extends congratulations to the elected officers and welcomes them to their roles. The NEI Board of Directors is composed of executives from companies that hold licenses to operate nuclear energy facilities and representatives of other companies involved in commercial nuclear technologies.
