MoDOT to host public meeting regarding intersection/sidewalk improvements in Blue…

REMINDER: Public meeting will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, May 16 at Blue Springs City Hall.

JACKSON COUNTY - MoDOT Kansas City, as part of a cost share project with the City of Blue Springs, will host a public meeting regarding intersection and sidewalk improvements on Missouri Route 7 from Shaw Parkway to U.S. 40.

The meeting will take place from 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, May 16 in the lobby of Blue Springs City Hall, located at 903 W Main St, Blue Springs, MO 64015. The project will include turn lane additions on Mock Ave. at MO 7, ADA upgrades to existing sidewalks and construction of sidewalks on the east side of MO 7 through the entire project area.

Please note that this is an open house style meeting, and NO formal presentations will be made. Those interested can attend the meeting anytime between the advertised hours to ask questions, learn more about the project, and leave comments. There will also be an option to leave comments online beginning at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 16 until 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 30. The online commenting period will be available on the project webpage, visit Missouri Route 7 Intersection and Sidewalk/ADA Improvements in Jackson | Missouri Department of Transportation (modot.org).
